Responsible for preparing and cooking pizzas, which includes making dough, assembling toppings, and managing the oven to meet quality standards. They are also responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, managing inventory, and collaborating with other staff to fulfill orders efficiently
Pizza preparation: Prepare and cook pizzas according to recipes and customer orders. This involves making dough, adding sauce and toppings, and baking in an oven.
Ingredient management: Monitor and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, report shortages, and ensure all ingredients meet quality standards.
Kitchen upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area, following all health and safety regulations. This includes cleaning equipment and workstations.
Oven operation: Operate and manage pizza ovens, ensuring correct temperature and cooking time for each pizza.
Order fulfillment: Prepare orders efficiently and work with other kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely delivery.
Menu development: May be responsible for creating new and innovative pizza recipes and ensuring the quality of all dishes.
Additional duties: Assist with other kitchen tasks as needed, such as preparing other menu items or cleaning.
