We are looking for a Commis Chef with hands-on experience in Indian cuisine to join our kitchen team. The candidate should be passionate about food, quick on their feet, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparation and cooking of Indian dishes (tandoor, curry, basic gravies, mise en place)
Maintain consistency, taste, and presentation as per kitchen standards
Ensure hygiene and cleanliness as per FSSAI guidelines
Support senior chefs during service and manage assigned section efficiently
Handle basic inventory and minimize wastage
Requirements:
1–4 years of experience in Indian kitchen (restaurant/hotel)
Basic knowledge of tandoor or curry section preferred
Ability to work in shifts and under pressure
Immediate joiners preferred
Salary: As per experience + service charge
