Want to build something that has never existed before?
We’re hiring a Chef Coach at M — someone who loves food, loves teaching, and wants to play a hands-on role in building a completely new category for how urban households run their kitchens.
Get startup-level exposure and shape a new vertical from the ground up. You’ll build and own a thriving portfolio of household cooks, work closely with a fast-moving team, and help shape M’s culinary operations, training systems, and quality standards as we scale.
As a Chef Coach, you’ll work with ~5 household cooks across member homes. You’ll train and mentor cooks, conduct hands-on coaching sessions, improve cooking techniques and food quality, troubleshoot kitchen challenges, and ensure consistency in taste, hygiene, presentation, and execution. You’ll also help cooks learn new cuisines and techniques while adapting to each household’s preferences and requirements.
This is a field-based role where you’ll work closely with our Operations, Customer Support, Product, and Leadership teams to solve food-related issues, track cook performance, and build training content, SOPs, and recipe guides.
Best-in-class, above-industry compensation, starting at ₹6 LPA, with compensation depending on your years of experience and overall profile.

Requirements

Strong background in culinary, hospitality, catering, restaurant operations, or culinary training
Strong cooking fundamentals across multiple cuisines and techniques
Experience training, mentoring, or managing kitchen teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in teaching
Strong problem-solving and quality-control skills
Comfortable working across multiple household locations
Comfortable with a field-based role and flexible schedules
Willingness to work weekends, with two rotating weekdays off
Ability to work independently and take high ownership
